I Hate Adulthood
I Hate Adulthood began in April 2022 after having multiple conversations with fellow Black women about the hardships of trying to navigate Adulthood. Discussions about not knowing how to choose friends past the age of eighteen, filing taxes, balancing a checkbook, and picking the right career became the focal point of my daily talks. Hearing and experiencing the same issues, I decided to do something about the difficulties I found myself in every day. As a result, I created IHateAdulthood: The Black Woman’s Search Engine For All Things Adulting!
While I Hate all things to do with Adulthood, this search engine will offer GEMS to help make the journey of Adulting a little easier for all Black Women. Each week we will discuss all things related to Being an Independent Grown Woman, from paying rent, keeping credit scores high, stepping out of our comfort zones, and creating wellness.
But, more importantly, we will address all things related to the Absurdities of Adulthood with a sense of laughter, joy, and support!
Hopefully, one day We Will All Stop Hating Adulthood Together!
